Large sculptural occasional chair crafted in organic and recyclable cork and American soft maple. The initial shape and concept for the design of the chair came from research into the traditional furniture of the Senufo people of West Africa. The carving is a focal point, highlighting the the handmade; cork is used as an alternative to upholstery, where the emphasis is on sustainability and the use of natural materials.
