Kombi is a design showroom based in New York presenting contemporary furniture, lighting, surface materials and sculpture from Southern Africa. We work with leading creative voices at the intersection of design, art and craftsmanship to curate a selection of unique and purposeful designs for residential and commercial interiors. 

Art, imbued with the history and culture of their materials and makers, can act as introductions across oceans and borders. Through our online platform, showroom and exhibition programming, Kombi is dedicated to developing a vibrant pathway between communities of creatives and collectors in Southern Africa and the United States. 

Kombi is founded by Fiona Mackay, a South Africa-born entrepreneur and art advisor who divides her time between New York City, Upstate New York and Cape Town.
