SHIPPING

In-stock orders are shipped from New York with UPS or Fedex within seven (7) days unless otherwise stated on the product page. Please contact us in advance of placing your order if you require expedited fulfillment and shipping. 


Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on size, weight and ship-to location. 


Art, large furniture and fragile items requiring special packaging or crating are sent with freight services. These will be arranged and quoted individually at the time the order is placed. 


Custom or made-to-order items that are not in stock ship ocean freight from South Africa and the price reflects a landed price in the United States, excluding local delivery within the U.S. We endeavor to send out orders as soon as they are received from South Africa. 


Estimated lead times reflect the time taken for production and ocean freight and are subject to change. Orders can be expedited and air freighted however there is an additional cost for this. Please contact us at sales@kombi.nyc for further information. 


All freight shipments are delivered to the driveway or door. Please let us know if white glove delivery is required when placing your order and this can be arranged at an additional cost. 


Kombi does not ship outside the U.S for orders placed online. International orders can be placed by contacting us at sales@kombi.nyc. 


Sales tax is collected on all orders shipped to addresses in New York State. Residents in other states are responsible for complying with local state tax laws. 

ORDERS & RETURNS

In stock items are eligible for return within 14 days of receipt. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it, in the original packaging.

Return your product only after emailing sales@kombi.nyc with your order number or purchase receipt and the reason for your return. Items sent back without an associated return request will not be accepted. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.


Full payment is required before confirmation of custom or made-to-order items. 


Custom and made-to-order items are not eligible for return. If not listed as ‘in stock’ it is advised before ordering to contact Kombi about availability, lead times and shipping. 


Orders may be canceled only within 24 hours of receipt of payment.  

RECEIPT OF PRODUCT

Kombi ships with 3rd party companies and cannot be held liable for damages incurred after an item leaves our showroom or warehouse. Please inspect your order within 48 hrs of receipt. 


When receiving parcel deliveries from UPS or Fedex a signature on the carrier’s automated handheld confirms that the products are received in good condition. If merchandise is refused upon delivery for quality or damage issues please contact us immediately. 


For items received by freight delivery, It is the responsibility of the receiver to inspect all items before signing off on the bill of lading or allowing the driver to leave. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us and let us know immediately.


Claims for loss or damage during delivery must be filed with the shipper within 72 hours. We will endeavor to do everything we can to assist you in your insurance claim. 


Kombi will accept responsibility for damaged or defective items if it is determined to be a manufacturing issue.

TRADE PROGRAM

Our trade program is available to accredited members of the trade (interior designers, art advisors, architects). Please contact us as sales@kombi.nyc with a copy of your resale certificate or business card to apply. On application, eligible trade discounts will be applied.
