A self-taught furniture and product designer, Laurie Wiid has been reimagining cork, wood, ceramic, glass, steel, and terrazzo for more than a decade under his studio, Wiid Design. The studio is particularly well known for its innovative use of cork in high-end product design and architectural projects, with a product range that spans furniture, lighting, tableware and collectible objects that combine specialist manufacturing with handcrafting. Wiid has won numerous awards for his work, and exhibited in London, Dubai and Miami.
