Working across painting, drawing and sculpture, artist Jeanne Hoffman revels in the spaces between things. Hoffman’s ceramic objects in particular function like coordinates on a landscape, the materiality of the clay – its plasticity and solidity – carries her conceptual concerns: the interdependent dualities of becoming/disintegrating, space/place and room/object. Hoffman’s work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe and South Africa.
